    Squeezed correlations of strange particle-antiparticles

Squeezed correlations of hadron-antihadron pairs are predicted to appear if their masses are modified in the hot and dense medium formed in high energy heavy ion collisions. If discovered experimentally, they would be an unequivocal evidence of in-medium mass shift found by means of hadronic probes. We discuss a method proposed to search for this novel type of correlation, illustrating it by means of D_s-mesons with in-medium shifted masses. These particles are expected to be more easily detected and identified in future upgrades at RHIC.Comment: 6 pages, 3 figures with parts a) and b), SQM 2009 contribution; added acknowledgmen

    Completely inverse AG∗∗AG^{**}-groupoids

    Get PDF
A completely inverse AG∗∗AG^{**}-groupoid is a groupoid satisfying the identities (xy)z=(zy)x(xy)z=(zy)x, x(yz)=y(xz)x(yz)=y(xz) and xx−1=x−1xxx^{-1}=x^{-1}x, where x−1x^{-1} is a unique inverse of xx, that is, x=(xx−1)xx=(xx^{-1})x and x−1=(x−1x)x−1x^{-1}=(x^{-1}x)x^{-1}. First we study some fundamental properties of such groupoids. Then we determine certain fundamental congruences on a completely inverse AG∗∗AG^{**}-groupoid; namely: the maximum idempotent-separating congruence, the least AGAG-group congruence and the least EE-unitary congruence. Finally, we investigate the complete lattice of congruences of a completely inverse AG∗∗AG^{**}-groupoids. In particular, we describe congruences on completely inverse AG∗∗AG^{**}-groupoids by their kernel and trace

    Congruences on Menger algebras

We discuss some types of congruences on Menger algebras of rank nn, which are generalizations of the principal left and right congruences on semigroups. We also study congruences admitting various types of cancellations and describe their relationship with strong subsets

Abstract characterizations of Menger algebras of partial nn-place functions defined on a set AA and closed under the set-theoretic difference functions treatment as subsets of the Cartesian product An+1A^{n+1} are given

    Properties of Bipolar Fuzzy Hypergraphs

In this article, we apply the concept of bipolar fuzzy sets to hypergraphs and investigate some properties of bipolar fuzzy hypergraphs. We introduce the notion of A−A- tempered bipolar fuzzy hypergraphs and present some of their properties. We also present application examples of bipolar fuzzy hypergraphs

The relation of semiadjacency of ∩\cap-semigroups of transformations

We consider two relations on a ∩\cap-semigroup of partial functions of a given set: the inclusion of domains and the semiadjacencity (i.e., the inclusion of the image of the first function into the domain of the second), which characterized with an abstract point of view using the elementary system of axioms, i.e., system conditions, recorded in the language narrow predicate calculus with equality
